MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS

Determining accurate methods of measuring HSE is a monumental challenge. OSHA Frequency Rates are inaccurate, arbitrary, and downstream measures that have been the impetus for much chaos. Using OSHA rates distorts the true picture, measures failure, is reactive, and motivates companies to make bad decisions. Health and Environmental measures are even less definitive. ASA utilizes meaningful metrics targeted at critical upstream indicators.
