COURSE DESCRIPTION
Superior safety performance is achieved by developing formal and informal leaders – those who have the most influence on safety in your organization. Affirming and allowing these management and “natural” leaders to drive safety-process improvements is essential to strengthening safety culture.

Developing Safety Leaders is a dynamic and intensive two-day session developing critical, safety-leadership skills that will have an immediate positive impact on all aspects of safety. Attendees will develop critical safety-leadership skills that foster all-employee engagement. They will understand the 5 Core Principles and 10 Key Elements required for Organic Safety Growth. Participants will return ready and able to make immediate contributions that will strengthen safety systems.

Tom Harvey, CSP, an innovative and seasoned safety professional, will facilitate this seminar—not some psychologist chasing the latest fad.

Tom Harvey is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and an independent Health, Safety, and Environmental Consultant and Trainer. To his clients, Tom brings over 25 years of operational experience and a proven track record for delivering results. He has extensive experience in practical regulatory compliance, HSE best practices implementation, and safety process systems improvement.

Utilizing adult-learning methods, motivational speaking skills, and a little humor, Tom delivers lively training sessions and spirited interaction. He has successfully trained thousands of employees at all levels, within diverse organizations, on many different topics. Tom is a featured speaker at local and national conferences, and developed and is featured in two best-selling safety videos. Tom founded Allied Safety Associates in 2000.

Includes 2 days with Tom Harvey on-site with Steering Team developing customized training that addresses organization-specific issues and experiences. Attendee DSL Manual will be customized for the organization.
