KEEPING IT REAL

This blog is the brain child of Tom Harvey, CSP, and there are no rigid parameters on content except that it is guaranteed to be of the highest quality. The purpose is to impart cutting-edge, thought-provoking, provacative yet highly-useful information. By and large, most entries will be written at the intermediate level, but every entry will include some degree of advanced safetyology, so try to keep up.

If you want recitation of OSHA regulations, you are in the wrong place. If you are looking for a new fad or a slogan, or need a pep rally, you are in the wrong place.

You are in the right place if you want to know:

What works, what works best, and what does not work.

How to call out organizations that display self-aggrandizement and blow duplicitous smoke about how great they are when their safety reality is a different story.

The difference between wishing and fishing; the difference between talking and walking; the difference between pretenders, make-believers, and the real dealers.

How to act like a safety leader so you can become a safety leader, not an insincere pin head with little of value to offer.

All the while maintaining the highest standards of decorum, ethics, and respect for divergent viewpoints.
