Safely Goes Against Human Nature.

Tom asserts that
working safely almost always takes longer and requires more
effort (negatives), whereas working unsafely is most often
easier, faster, and less of a hassle (positives). This leads to
the conclusion that WORKING SAFELY OFTEN GOES AGAINST HUMAN
NATURE! Therefore, the objective of this presentation is to
discuss methods, techniques, and leadership strategies that
counteract human nature by encouraging safe behavior and
discouraging unsafe behavior. To do so, positive and negative
consequences must be used to successfully influence behavior.
